Where is correct to put following decals:

    1. Aircleaner: "Keep your GM car.. on pass side? And was there any black decal "Airfilter Service Instructions" on driver side for 1968?
    2. Inside of Trunk Lid: In the middle or in the corners? (Jack Instructions).
    3. Emission Decal

Didn`t find any Air Cleaner Service Instruction Decal for 1968 GS 400. Not so from factory?

Anyone have a picture from an original 1968 GS400 engine were you can see the decals?

IMG_0589.JPG When I got my 68 The engine bay was about as untouched as you would ever find. There was a decal on the L air cleaner lid and nothing on the right.

Mine has an air cleaner stencil on the left side. The only sticker I have is unreadable but is on the radiator top plate.

It's actually painted on, not a sticker. Not sure if anyone makes a sticker to resemble it. (See the link a few posts back for Osborn reproductions.)

Found the black Airfilter Service Instruction decal at Year One. Only problem it`s for 1969 GS350 and GS400. Okey to use this BC decal on a 68 400?

It looks like the same code, number, and text as my original; it'd just be a sticker instead of a screen print.

That's the dumb hot air pipe (not flex hose) that I am looking for! Guessing that's a 430, would that make up with a 72 GS 455?...ws

Why are you wanting that, if I may ask? Just becasue you don't like the flex hose?
If you also used the sheet metal part that bolts to the 3/5 exhaust port on the head, that would work on a '72.
By the way, I am looking for one of these (the metal pipe) if anyone has one, and Bill doesn't buy it LOL
