I am going to replace the master cylinder on my 72 Stage 1, can anyone give me the correct part number and where to get it? Thanks in advance.

Did you ever find the OEM part number for this? I see them on eBay all the time and also learned that GM used the same pieces brand wide. You never know....
No number yet, but there are subtle differences between about 8 of them used during the time period I have found.
An assembly or chassis manual would have the numbers/codes. I don't have either for a '72, though. I sold mine a couple years ago.
