I have seen both styles (Labeled below as Pump 1 and Pump 2) on what I think are correctly restored 67 GS's. I have also seen the third style Pump 3. My question: which one, or ones are correct?
Thanks for your time in advance.

From what I have seen picture marked pump 2 is the correct one.

That is the one I mostly see installed also. I have a theory, and that is all it is, that GM had more than one Mfg. source or they used up existing stock/surplus.

Pump #2 would be correct for a '67. Pump #1 looks like the kind used on the nailhead engines. Pump #3 I have personally never seen on any Buick.

Thanks again everyone. Nick, I agree that the other one is the most prevalent on our 67's. This link http://www.buickperformanceclub.com/ps.htm shows the round tower neck for a 68 GS400 and the standard looking pump for a 70 GS. The one I have as Pump # 3 looks like some that I just found on 65-66 Nail Head Gran Sports.

I'm basing this on absolutely nothing, but I want to say the round neck pump was used all the way through 70 (on some cars) and 71 is when the short neck pump became universal. By my crappy memory, I think my buddy's pointy lens flint 70 GS455 has a type 1 pump....
