I am looking for a place to get a good deal on a new set of Cragar SS wheels. I am also interested in what the size is that always looks so good on the A body cars. Where the front tires are a little different than the rear. Thanks Mark
Just looking on Ebay for those the other night. If you do a search for "cragar ss" on Ebay, there is a place selling 15x7s for 599.00 a set with free shipping. I think thats the best deal your gonna get. I think the 15x7s would look cool. Gives the car a nice late 60's/ early 70s look.
Cragar SS were selling for $122.99 at www.jegs.com and I think that is a heck of a deal. Better not snooze because their prices go up everytime I look. This is the part # (260-61715) for the 15x7 wheels and this is the link here Gotta love that free delivery!
cragers Just bought a pair of 15x8's with 4" backspacing for $150 each at a local tire house. They had them in stock !!! The rims on the front are 15x7's with 4" backspacing, I got them from a guy who was needing some cash. They were brand new also. Tires are 235/60's on front and 255/60's on the rear. Man this car looks AWESOME !!!!!
i have a set on my car now, but i think im putting the originals back on soon.....i have 14s in the front and 15s in the back, they are flat black, i think they came off a z28, thats what the center cap says anyway
I have a set of Crager S/S wheels I have a set of almost new Crager S/S wheels 15x7 Call me at 786-402-4262
If you want 14s I have a set of four: 2 new in box 2 slightly used 14"x7" Cragar SS wheels I would like to sell at a very reasonable price, if you are interested. I am switching to something else, just havn't made a final choice yet. I do love the way the Cragars look though. PM, email, respond here, whatever floats your boat. Thanks, Paul
i really like the look of the cragar rader wheel that jegs sells. definately retro yet the new ones are billet. a little pricey but very sharp.
the cragars look good on just about anything. i know that a 15x8 with 4.5" of back spacing fit nicely with a 275 60 15 in the rear. had my weld wheels on my friends 71 skylark and that is there exact size and they fit like a glove, no rubbing. you could possibly try 15x10 with 5" of back spacing with 295 50 15 on the rear and i think those will fit also. as for the front a set of 15x6 or 7's with a 215 65 15 would look good. summit or jegs has them at just about the best prices and they usually price match any other store. what is also nice about them is that if you have a problem with one of them they will stand behind them and never gripe about it. good luck.
