I ordered many new parts for my 1969 Buick GS 400 engine rebuild with TA Performance, but in need of a crankshaft. Anyone know of a place to buy one or a shop in Northern California where I can take mine? Thanks!
Everyone in Reno says go to Sacramento for machine work. I know the last engine I had done, the crank balancing work was done somewhere in northern California. Have any shop source bearings before grinding to make sure they can grind to an available bearing size.
I fired the last NorCal machine shop I was using. Soon thereafter they closed forever (sometimes kids that inherit daddy's business just don't have what it takes).
