Anyone know if retailers have a time limit to charge your card after making a purchase. I bought something just over 30 days ago, they shipped it, I got it, but they still have yet to charge my Visa.

    Hello Zach,

Visa is cashing from my account every 1st week of the month :af: Maybe you bought something like 10 days before the date Visa is charging your bank account, and the company was a little late transferring the details to Visa? So Visa will take it off your bank the next month.

I think you have a different system or something because my bank account is not tied into my credit card. My debit card, yes, but not my credit card. I've had online vendors delay charging my card for a week, maybe two weeks one time, but never a whole month. I'm wondering if someone just forgot to process my bill, maybe dropped the slip on the floor  .

  4. Don't really know if they have any time limit to process the transaction. Why don't you give them a call and ask what the delay is for.

You can check your account on-line.
