My company is McWheels and I am located in Slater, Iowa. Some of you already know me from the last couple of years. I can make custom Buick wheels for you. I take an original 14 x 6 Buick Rally , cut the center out and re-install it into a NEW chromed rimshell. Can make pretty much any size and backspace. Center will be redone and wheels are guaranteed straight and true. 15 x 7s and 15 x 8s are my specialty. Need WG look alikes, no problem. A year ago I put a similar ad out on V8Buick and was overwhelmed with the response. But being the only employee in my company, I over extended the promises I made to people. I'd love to do this eventually, but need to spend on other items first. I would assume it's exactly the same if you took original 15x7 wheels and used the centers? Probably less expensive than trying to restore originals that need work?
I have a set of 15x7 and 15x8 Buick rally wheels on my 1972 Skylark convertible that Curt made and they look awesome. Curt really does a nice job. David, to answer your question - 14x6 and 15x7 Buick rally wheels have the same center - only the size/depth of the chrome rimshell is different.
The 15x7's on the 1970 GS's have a different offset than the other year wheels. The code for the 1970 wheels is WG

Just ordered my second set of 15 X 7's from Curt...answered immediately, I would recommend calling if you want the quickest response! As before, a great deal and chrome is even better now than before due to new triple-chromed shells!
Dave, just give Curt a call at 515-685-3397 and he will let you know pricing. I'm not sure if you can get a "true" WG look a like and still have correct WG back spacing.
