custom grille... hi guys,I got the rare chance to buy a 65 riviera here in germany. what could you tell me about this custom grille as shown at the pic.I've seen this grille on a couple of rivieras already. is there a shop or a website I could purchase this neat thing, you got an idea?!? thanks a lot... :bglasses:
They are custome made They are custom made one at a time, I will check a Few Magazines I have and see if I can find out if you can order one.But I am pretty sure you need to have it made at your local custom shop or a Welder can make it for you then you just need to send it out and have it chromed. You're welcome! I emailed them, inquiring about a 68 GS grille, and they do not have a design for one yet, would need my grille sent to them to make a custom. Prices don't sound bad, $200-$500. 3/8" or 1/2" sq or round tubing, then triple chrome plated. I wouldn't think about doing this if TPP or someone repopped a 68 grille.
yeah, I did as well, they answered within a few hours, about 400 bucks plus shipping. sound pretty good to me! so, thanks again !!! :TU: henning
