No reproduction Or cheap fiberglass hood. This hood was built around a Rust free original hood, Which was stripped down to bare metal. Every ding,every valley was carefully fixed and prepped. Then the 4" fiberglass was riveted on, a total of 92 rivets were used. Then a 2" strip of fiberglass matting was laid, then a 4" on top of that, then all the final molding and blendding. Scoop is functional, but no bracing of the hood was sacraficed. The factory diamond shapeed opening between the bracing was removed to keep the hoods integrity and strength. Front Buick Emblem Has been shaved Because its a factory hood, all stock hardware can be used. No ugly hood pins or fluttering hoods at highway speed.
