Has anyone successfully pulled the pressed in pcv nipple and threaded the port? I heard of someone doing it but can't for the life of me find anything about it. I'd like to yank out the nipple and then run a threaded plug in there so that it's set up like the rear of the carb is. If anyone has any advice on this I'd appreciate it. I have nightmares of cracking the flange or something by trying to pull the nipple out.
I've had success with that by using small gear clamps around the pipe and carefully prying with a screwdriver. Good luck, Frank
Never thought of that. I always did the grab with pliers and wiggle trick, but on an aluminum body I figured that was a bad idea. I like your suggestion though.
