Decal Placement

Do any of you guys know where the trunk decal should be placed on the inside of the deck lid? I bought a new one a while back but have yet to place it.

Also, is there a reference guide for decal placement (glove box info decal, rad. support decal, GSX decals--on qtrs, ect.).

Maybe this will help? It's from the assembly manual. The resto guys on here can be more specific. The location is different with the Space Saver spare, though.

 

I all ways put my trunk decal on those magnet pads that you can get at Wal-Mart, Then if a someone tells you its in the wrong place you just move it.:TU:

 

Thanks guys. Without this board, I would have a mess of a restoration. You guys rock! What about 1/4 panel GSX decals?

 

I wouldn't try to get it "perfect" either. Every original one I've seen was applied crooked and wrinkled as can be! o No: :eek2:

 

I can send you a pic of my 71 GS its on the left upper corner crooked and wrinkled

 

Any pics would be great. I am sure I will get close, but just didn't know if someone had exact-or close measurements (i.e.: from the contour up or so on).
