I have a B&M deep alum. tranny pan on my turbo 350. Has anyone ever tried or read anything about having some sort of baffling in the pan? Since it works on a engine why wouldn't it work on a deep pan, this pan holds 3 additional quarts of fluid.
    Thanks

I don't think you need it in the trans pan. The fluid really can't go anywhere. In an oil pan, it keeps the fluid around the pickup, and away from the crank.

windage trays and baffles are to cancel the whipping effect of the crank and the side acceleration of the vehicle. a larger pan for the trans would be an attempt at cooling by volume. in the oil pan there is more places the oil can go to than the sump hence baffles. the trans pan is the sump, no where else to go.
