Few of us are going out on May 11 to do some bracket racing/test and tuning at Milan. This event is mostly old Race cars, Old Funny cars and Nostalgia also musclecars. Its going to be 2 or 3 time trials and then eliminations with Test and tune between rounds. Its a cool event with lot of 60's/70's Muscle.

This really isnt about the racing, thats just a perk its more about hanging out, lining up the trailers in the back maybe some eats and just trying to get the cars out a little early this year and trying to use them a little more.

The tracks usually prepped real good at these events and hook is usually excellent. Who knows might even take home a few bucks bracket racing think maybe Tim C,or Jeremy has stripped the local bracket racers of a few bucks.

Theres a few bracket racers that want to get some of there money back from Frank Remlinger (sorry if I spelled it wrong Frank) last fall he wheeled the Dart into some cash I believe!

The more Purestock,Factorystock,F.A.S.T cars the better . Hope to see everybody out there..................Paul

I'll be there. Want to work any bugs out of the car in a low Stress enviroment.. :pp hahaha From now on I use the PETE approach. At the race , the car is what it is... Tuning is to be done before and only before the race. The Race is for FUN and Relaxation..... Life is too short . And so is Danielle Miller. See you there

    Holy S___, Look out!!!

For the girl in the other yellow car.

    It's on my Calendar.
    Try to make that happen.
    My car is in pieces.
Should have my steering box back within a week.
Had to take care of it now while the engine is out getting my original exhaust manifolds back on.
Borrowed set of manifolds had to be returned.

I will drive the Copo out there, beat it up and drive it home!! This is outstanding, as I hear the cars are unreal. I think we need to add some of these cars to our races to increase the show value for the spectators. Both Rinke and Larry Weymouth have a nice start

We're in! Looks like we'll be running in "sportsman" for the day. I see they will have a billet proof rat rod show as well. Every one of them will get a pass down the track according to the flyer. Wonder how long that will take?!? Hopefully the rats won't drop too many parts down the track...........:puzzled:

Who else will be there?? Gates open at 8am.

I'm trying to get my crap together.
Engine and trans are back in the car.
Gotta finish putting exhaust back in underneath.
Carb, wiring, and cooling system are next.
Oh yeah, gotta fix that gas leak, got the new sending unit gasket.
Finished up the brake and bearing inspection on the trailer today.
It's looking good, unless something crazy comes up.
Just gotta pull a couple of late nights in the garage.

    Hi Chris,

Your car looks familiar from PSMCDR 2012, did you have Super Cobra Jet Yellow Shoes to match?

My 9 year old son was cheering for you from the stands big time. "Go Super Cobra Jet Shoes"

    Ryan

PS: Are you going to PSMCDR this year?

Ryan, here's the official story of the yellow shoes.
They are custom ordered Converse All Stars.
My parents ordered them as a b-day gift a couple years ago.
Anyone can order up a custom pair from their web site.
I wear Converse all summer long almost everyday.
I don't wear my yellow ones often, I'm savin' them so the they look good at the track.
Donny Brass can't be the only one lookin' good, with his members only jacket.

    Very cool.

The clutch shoe must wear out faster than the brake-gas shoe.

That is one of the more uncomfortable phrases I have heard in a while.:eek::eek:

You must have been going crazy lately, you had a long list of fun but time consuming items to accomplish.

    Ryan

    Good luck this weekend.

PS: HEY STUPID GUYS LIKE ME, DON'T FORGET ABOUT MOTHERS DAY, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT. THEY GAVE US LIFE, THEY GAVE US LOVE. FORGETTING IS 100% UNACCEPTABLE.:Dou::Dou::Dou:
