Does anyone know a place in Massachusetts that has a distributor machine that will curve GM HEI's? Other locations are ok, any suggestions are welcome. Thanks, scottie
I would just give Jim Weise a call at Tri-Shield-Performance(763-422-8685) He can curve your HEI, he is located in Anoka, Minnesota. You can also contact Dave Ray at www.davessmallbodyheis.com He specializes in converting points distributors over to HEI operation, and rebuilds, recurves distributors. You didn't mention what year car this is for. If the motor originally had a points distributor, and you still have it, or can get a used one, send it to Dave. Many members on this BB have used his services and are very happy with his work.
Thanks for the reply. I have a 74 motor with an HEI, probably from an 76. Also want to dial in a chevy distributor from a 79 camaro, also HEI. Believe it or not, the 455 is in a chevelle. Thanks for the info scottie
