    Why convert to electric?

Napa (napaonline.com) has several electric chokes listed for the Buick V8's.

just found this link for what you want.

The electric ones are kind of spendy compared to the good old thermostatic choke coil. TAPerformance has a divorced thermostatic choke for $35.00, I think I have seen similar ones for as little as $19.00. The electric jobs seem to start at $50.00 :dollar:

The electric choke replacement for the divorced choke is only needed when you block the heat crossovers at the gasket, or fill the crossovers in the heads with aluminum. Some aftermarket intakes don't have a provision for the divorced choke, but they can be added with some fabrication. This is a good place to go to an electric replacment.

If you have a stock or stock replacement intake, and the exhaust crossovers are open, I would use the factory type divorced choke, if you can find one? They are a reliable part, and seldom give any troubles.....Cliff

I'm glad you got yours without too much trouble. Are you planning to put a cover on the coil?

I am having a rough time finding what I need for my combination. :Do No:
