Do I have the right distributor gear for this roller core?

I have a TA roller cam core (#313601 at the front) from about 4 years ago with just dyno pulls on it. I used the TA 1403G hardened steel gear with no additional oiling. The pics show the wear pattern. I also have an OEM GM and a BOP composite gear. Is this anything to be concerned about? What is the best gear to use going forward? I plan on the 0.032" oil hole in the passenger galley plug for additional oiling.

I used the hardened steel points gear (TA1403E) on my engine. Still good after 10 years +

Larry, do you have a distributor gear oiler?

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

Scott, I have been running this distributor gear from BOP Engineering on a street car with a small hyd. roller cam for 8+ years and it still looks like new. I do not have any type of distributor gear oiler. When I bought it many years ago it was much cheaper $$$.

No, it is as JW put it together. I had the cover off to fix a leak in September of 2020. This is how the cam gear looked.

The distributor looked OK to me as well.

I dug out my stock GM gear, which was changed halfway thru the dyno testing. I recall now that I had changed it due to the wear I had seen. 20230303_164444.jpg 20230303_164418.jpg
