Hi guys, 72 Skylark with bucket seats and floor console (I believe swapped out from bench seat and no console).....if I have U shifter, do I need this rod going from the shift linkage up to the steering column? SEE PIC....is it only there to move dash gear indicator ? Thanks
yeas, you need it as it also actuates the neutral safety switch (assuming it is still equipped with one)
