Do the jacks on 68 and 69 cars have I.D. or date codes?

Mine is long gone so I have nothing to compare to.
    Thanks as always.
    Marc.

Thanks. I might shoot Paul a message.
Jack is still pretty far down on my list, but I thought if the one Cole had was correct for my car I would jump on it.
How's that little girl doing? If I remember right you said she was in college last time we spoke. Mine is leaving for
college in Scotland in September. Going to be brutal.
    Marc.

The 69 jacks are ID’d similar to the 70-72 units with identification on the bases and date codes on the stalks.

I think the 68 hooks are slightly different then the 69’s but other then that I think the 68’s are the same as the 69 units.

One girl starting high school at Pine Crest. ($$)

Most expensive year of my life...

    Amazing! Congratulations though.
Yes, my parts collection and parts restoration is about to come to a screeching halt for a few years.

12lives Control the controllable, let the rest go

I think the hooks are also marked with the year.

I have a stamp "F8" on my baseplate. The car is made 06B. 1968 GS400 Conv.

    Ok,
The stalk mechanism has the F8 date code which decodes as June of 1968.

The base has “A-B” stamped into it, which means it is good for an A or B body car.

The body build date of 06B would be the 2nd week of June of 1968.

The hook has a long end at the top which I think is correct for the 68 cars. (Someone else can chime in about that one)
    Everything looks good.

Just jump on a plane. Get in touch when you are here. Two big US car meetings here in Sweden in July. Brings about 20.000 cars.
