Do anyone have any info on this Stage 1? It is listed on the trader online. http://ww2.collectorcartrader.com/d...torcartrader.com/ad-cache/10/3/6/90178336.htm
...I dont know anything about that car but I find it kind of funny how he has these two statements right next to each other ... and they contradict themselves
The POP on this car says it is an SR engine and a BA trans. He will not post a pic of the trans tag. He says the paperwork says it is a stage 1. I am puzzled why he will not post a pic of the trans to to confirm whether it is a BB or a BA. It appears to be a nice car even though the hood paint is incorrect and the rad and the rad top plate are from maybe a 72 car. I would definitely want to see the trans tag and the partial vin off the trans and the two letter engine code on the deck.
As well as being cautious with the GA title, with recent events. I though the other discription said the car was originally green. DL
Yeah, this is the one that is owned by a "church" and was on Ebay. The sellers are very elusive and will not answer questions.
I asked for more photos and documentation this morning and they replied quickly to ask what kind what paperwork I wanted to see and if I could email my phone #. I ask for proof that it is the real deal and send my #. No reply as of yet.
I still have not received a reply from last week so I think they will not reply at all. But if they do I will ask for the trans tag pic.
It was on the LA List too but I think this was by someone else. I have talked to Blake in the past. He know little about Buicks. He is consulting with the person who owned it before about these questions. I think they may really have the car whereas the Craig's list listing is by the scammers. However his refusal to post a pic of the trans tag or the two letter engine stamp is troublesome.
