Does upholstery of skylark 68 fit the 65 seats?

Hello, i ordered new upholstery for a 65 skylark coupe's ffront bucket seats and instead got delivered the upholstery for a 68.

Do you know if the seats are the same? If the upholstery fits?

I'm not sure I can send em back and get the correct ones. I live in Italy and the package comes from a US shop. Besides the long times due to shipping from both sides the problem is I already paid 100 dollars in duty fees when I accepted the package on delivery. And that's money I'll never get back.

No, they are not the same, and no they will not fit.

The 65 front bucket seat frames and cushions are totally different then the 68 frames/cushions.

If you ordered the correct covers and were sent incorrect covers, the company should step up and do the right thing.

If it were my company, you would get the covers, and a refund of the cost of the duty fees as well as shipping for the first shipments, and I would tell you to keep or dispose of the first covers as you saw fit.

It's the right thing to do in this case. (the cost to both parties, to return the first shipment, outweighs any benefit to either).

    In bocca al lupo, Michel!
