This is mainly aimed at the resto shop guys and people with hinge experience.

I need to replace the door hinges on my ‘67 GS. I only want to do it once.

Are all hinges the same from all the various suppliers? Or is one better than the others?

Are they all made in China? Are there US manufactured hinges? And does it make a difference?

Also are the hinges for a ‘67 the same as a ‘70?
GTO 442 Chevelle & GS the same?

Please share your experience and knowledge.

    Thanks
    Duke

    For your 67 you'll need the 64-67 hinge...2 dr or 4dr any A-body.......BOPC
    68-72 won't fit...totally different....

the repop hinges are junk.... don't waste your time.
ss396.com sells rebuild parts for the stock hinges.

The bad thing is the new bushings aren't as good as the original material ,....you'll never use the doors enough to wear them out tho the way we use these cars
