For a lack of better terms I’m calling it door trim. Missing one piece for my 68 GS 400. Does anybody have this for my drivers door?

I believe that is the beltline reveal molding.

I have some from a 69 but it looks like 68 maybe different because of the vent window. Tony

Yes they are different due to the wing window.

Thank you Tony for the correct terminology, there’s no doubt a 69 would be different. But if you wanna look and let me know, I’d be interested if it’s the same

Here’s the 69 trim from the door front and back for you to compare. If you think you can use them please pm me. Tony IMG_4586.jpeg image.jpg

I checked and can't find any 68s. I have several pairs of 1/4 window trim so i should have the door trim but i dont know where i put it.

Thats funny I found the fronts and could only find one quarter window trim and should have a few.

Thanks for looking, Ive owned quite a few 68’s and 69’s and this trim is something I haven’t seen a lot of, was it something that needed to be special ordered on a GS?

Yes-Buick and Olds offered it in ‘68 and ‘69. It’s option code W5 on a Buick. Makes window fuzzies a ‘custom made’ thing, and, if you have it on a convertible it means you also have different pinch weld molding around the top well…

Here’s some discussion of that option:
