Somewhere around the same time one of my friends had a few too many drinks in his white GSX, ran off the road , hit a camper, and pushed it about 60 yards down the street. The X was a mess they were only able to save the spoiler and rear bumper. I have a pic of it somewhere around the house. Dave

Those pics are difficult to look at. I feel like I'm watching that episode of 'Impact Stories' on Discovery where the guy has a piece of re-bar sticking out of his skull.
The guy I bought mine from had two of them. They bought my yellow one brand new and in about '74 bought a white one from somewhere up around Boston. A couple years later it was sitting in front of their house and a drunk plowed into the back of it. As it sat awaiting it's fate, parts started dissapearing off of it. They wound up totalling it and it got crushed. I wound up with the hood, doors, and a couple other pieces. I saw the motor (stage 1) once sitting at his son's house under a tarp in a poorly roofed shed.
I was killing some time on the web one time, and found a website that was something along the lines of cars in barns.com it was nothing but pictures of cars you could see from the road, but owners wouldnt sell, and wouldnt do anything with them, needless to say it was depressing
