Phil the engine looks great. You may want to add a fuel filter between the pump and the carb. Keep up the great job. Dan
Look great Phil! I am starting to receive large boxes of goodies for my project, and am hoping to have them all here so I can at least drive it before it snows or something..... it's getting chilly here at night :shock: I am dying to see how that runs with your setup!

car is a 2400 lb skyhawk.cert to 8.50. more of an amc car than anything. mopar 8 3/4 4.56 gears. chevy 'glide, mopar electric fan, mopar intake, mustang front end. but its got a buick under the hood. its a neat little car. goes very straight. but its for the young ones to get in and out of. john has gone 11.88 @ 112. at e-town, dont know what he was doing, he went 12.65 @116. so, if we gained 4mph, that would be around 11.6 or better on 11 passes so far. we have not had a lot of runs in the last 2 yrs because of stupid little problems. hopefully all solved for cecil. on the ebay 850 cfm 2 bbl, i lost it. so, its back to a 4 bbl. darn.
I think I have everything setup and ready to drop in/on. Got a 3.90 diff. from Garrison that I need to get here somehow..... (roadtrip) and have some heads coming from PAE. The Poston headers and 2.5 exhaust showed up yesterday , but not the mufflers yet uzzled: . Went with the TA413 cam ...... hopefully going to get her into the low 13's at least. I'll fill you in later on all the details as they progress.......... don't wanna hijack this thread.
There may not be too many people posting but there are some devoted Buick 350 fans here that are forced to pay tons of money for porting and build our own intakes. There isn't very many of us but we DO need this intake! If you can make this one work then I can build a run of 20 of then and everyone will be happy. Without any recognition that the GS350 are beating up on thier cars at the track they will never give us any help. I honostly think that TA will step up and make parts for us but only once the BBB guys are happy with thier new motor. Kudos to all the guys building the SBB!!!
mike, your not hijacking this thread. glad to hear from anybody. i am trying to get all of you interested in what we can do to make the 350 outrun the 455 and others. if i can build something to make our cars go faster, i will and i will tell how its done. we all can learn from each others little tricks if we open our mouths!!!! there really shouldnt be any secrets on the 350 buildup unless there is an ego problem. my phone and address has been all over and anybody can call or come over. i will be the first to help anybody. just my .02
i would like to have (4) v6 heads so i can wire cut them in half and then bond them back together to make a 350 head. i dont know if there are any differences on the first 2 cylinders, if there is none then its possible. mike or dave at t/a.....are you listening????

I have been watching this thread the entire time, and it's this thread along with Phil and Dave that actually made me decide to go one step further with the 350......... because I know with you guys are doing, there IS A FUTURE FOR THE SBB! The Buick community IS watching........ locitited the intake to the plates. tired of it moving around. wanted to do some measurements, etc. i know i have to resurface the top when done. ordered a piece of aluminum for the top for the carb. alumina-weld rod should be tuesday. will weld it up next week. and then its on the race car. hope to have it ready for the 29th for testing. crossing my fingers. will not tell results till after cecil. you are gonna have to suffer till then :grin:
