  3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. Dyno Results Are In! 1971 All Iron 350

    How many cc’s is the cylinder with the piston at TDC?

    iunno
    all i remember is that it was about .094 down the hole using the 3.0 v6 flat top pistons. stock bore.
    results using the pat kelly calculator.

    I ran Poston V6 hypers years ago with dbl sided valve reliefs. Don't think they were any more than .055 in hole.

    the v6 pistons have a very short compression height. 1.808"

    That’s where my pistons on my old build were sitting, had the machine shop cut .050 off the deck.

    These were the V6 Speed Pro's. 1.855 comp height.

    2.5 inch pipes the problem or the muffler he's using? He made alot more power with straight pipes.

    Straight pipes, less timing, richer afr at 10.8 vs 11.8 now.

    I think the mufflers killed the most power. There was a notable butt dyno difference. Theyre just cheapo Flowmaster knockoff Thrush mufflers.

    The real key is, does each muffler kill 20 hp...or must they be measured together?

    Made more power. Was a point higher this time, 11.8:1. Tbh I could get away with another point.

    I do genuinely think the mufflers had the most affect.

    Best mufflers are Dynomax Ultra. Chart shows they flow equal to straight pipes.
