I managd to change out the lower ball joint and tie rods with minimal fuss but am have a hell of a time gettng the upper ball joint separated from the control arm. The control arm bushings have prven to be quite problematic as well. Thanks.

I was able to remove the old control arm bushings but would like some help getting the new ones on. turns out hitting it with a big hammer doesn't seem to work too well. as you can see from the pic I did find a piece of pipe that I stuck in between the A arm supporting it while I bang away. another thing is it seems the original upper ball joint was welded into place? wtf... the replacement ball joint has a threaded collar Im assuming because I need to grind or file (chisel?) the old weld.
