Thnx Jim, Do they really look like the factory originals? I have an old 350-4 air cleaner that has an original embossed decal still on it. To bad the repos that Year One, OPG, etc., sell don't look the same. Joe.
Cars inc for decals Have you tried Cars Inc. for the engine decals? They have them in their catalog. Not sure how faithfully they are reproduced, but the price is reasonable... http://oldbuickparts.com/
Which one do you want Joe? I have an extra embossed NOS "350-4" decal (correct for 70-72's), that I bought years ago.... PM me if you're interested. :bglasses:
I recently looked into having the '68/'69 "400-4V" valve cover decals reproduced with the "Correct Embossing". The decals would not be that expensive, but the special "embossing" tooling was quite expensive. :eek2: The current '68/'69 valve cover reproductions that are available are not the best, but they are better than nothing o No:
So, does that mean this is a no-go? I would buy a pair at almost any cost for my future 68 conv. Have two other firends with 68s who I would end up buying them for if they didn't buy them themselves.
