I am picking up my engine from browntrip on thursday of the nats. I will be bringing a trailer to transfer the engine, but no car (spectator only). Will they let me bring the trailer into the pits just to transfer the engine or will he have to meet me in the parking lot to do the swap?

I know he will have it in the pits and i want it to be as convenient for him as possible but I would really not be wanting to purchase a pit pass or whatever since GA is already 20 greenbacks. :eek2:

Anyone know if i could just make a quick pick up in the pits without having to pay?

    Thanks.

And i am super excited to get this thing!!! my baby will back breathing within a month :TU:

They let me do that a couple of years ago. I parked outside and walked down to the pit entrance and explained the deal, no problem.

Thanks Bert. I figured it shouldnt be a big deal....i mean we always walk through the pits and thought i should be able to chat someone up to let us just bring the trailer in for a bit to load the engine.

    Anyone else have similar stories?
