  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things.   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. Engine Seized

    The engine in my 65 gs conv has seized up. Does anybody have any ideas on how I can fix it. Thanks.

    How did it happen. From sitting?. If so, the first thing I would do is take the spark plug's out and squirt some penetrating oil down in there and let it sit for a couple of day's.

    Is it a stick by chance. I had a truck do that to me one time. After I did the p/oil trick, I hooked a chain to it, towed it down the road and popped the clutch. Worked like a charm, and ran fine.

    I am in no way recomending you do that. It could cause serious damage. But, if your willing to take the risk,,,,,,,,,

    Well from what Ive been told the car ran out of oil. But when I got it the guy said it just had an oil change. I was ony the freeway when the oil and temp light came on and it was jsut downhill from there.

    Im putting a 65 Rivi 455 in it until I can get mine rebuilt.
    What type of mods would you guys recommend.

    :error: 455 started in 1970. check and see what you really have there. A '65 425 nailhead might say something like "Wildcat 445" on the air cleaner as they used to put the torque rating on a sticker there.
