I was about to make an offer but the $300 is for one lens, not the pair. Good thing I actually read it before bidding.

That is VERY deceptive showing two lenses and gaskets in the pictures. Brutal.................

I don't see where it says one lens. Are you sure about that? Am I not seeing something?

They make really nice repros for $185.

My guess is in the title, it says Lens and not lenses or pair.

Yes, there are TWO lens with the buy it now price, with original gasket and boxes!

Still, I'd rather save the $115 and by a set of repros. Or better yet, polish and paint my originals and save the $300 all together

I cleaned and painted mine. Unbelievable improvement for price of a spray bomb.

They’re junk . Why ppl paying the coin for nos .

This is another one of those things DL where I draw the line. Ive used the CARS gaskets, they're not bad. They seem to fit and function as intended. They keep the water out of the tail lights right? They're even the right color! Now, you could make the argument that the 1970 NOS gaskets are cut slightly different than the CARS counterparts. I think the CARS gaskets are the 71/72 variety. Still rather have the extra $190 in my pocket. Not even sure if Duane would pick up on that at a show

Sure , you have to pick n choose where you want to splurge . Like $350 for a dash bezel vs $1250,00 nos . Or the guy that offered me a choke for $250.00 in BG LOL

But the Biggest complaints about aftermarket parts is Seals & Weatherstripping .
The nos are heavy thick rubber, like orginal . The repos I saw were thin foam . Now maybe those were re done ? Not sure .
But , I was just sharing what I know people have paid .

Dishing out the extra for NOS separates a good restoration from a great restoration
