I have an evap canister in nice shape, no damage from I believe a 71 or 72. Any difference between the early years? $30 shipped. Pm me paypal or money order.

    John,

I actually have 3 of the canisters. The numbers on the 3 are:

    #1 7028131 CG
    56

    #2 7028131 CG
    20343

    #3 7028131 CG
    108

Let me know if one of these will work for you!

Rock Auto sells the filters. They are now made out of a plastic fiber material instead of the fiberglass which is probably better. If you remove the filter and the charcoal starts falling out it is probably no good. The other numbers on the cans are date codes if it matters to anyone. They are days of the year. 56 is 56th day of the year etc. Not sure what the one with lots of numbers means. All I have seen had 2 or three number date codes.

Also the cans Carl is selling are the correct old ones. The newer ones had 3 and four ports and are not correct looking.
