I grew up in Buffalo listening to Canadian radio stations. I was shocked when I moved an hour south and no one had ever heard of any Canadian bands that weren't the big names..

Here is the musician that everybody should be enjoying......he is the Jerry Garcia of our time(and that is coming from a lifelong Deadhead)....and the band is the Dead reincarnated Bluegrass style !

I see Neil Young and Crazy Horse are touring again. If I knew the set list I might buy tickets, loved the energy of the Rust Never Sleeps album.

    Tin soldiers and Nixon coming.
    Four dead in Ohio.
I remember that like it was yesterday.
I like Neil Young's music. Most of it. The Vietnam Era was a tough time in our country.

Saw them live in Fargo, ND around 1975-76 at an outdoor concert with four other bands including Nazareth as the headliner.

I’m going to see Neil with The Horse in July. I can’t wait! He’s 78 years old, so it may be my last chance to see him again.

I’m going to see Judas Priest in two weeks, and part of wanting to go is that it might be the last time they’re able to tour. But, ‘Invincible Shield’ is an awesome album…

As far as Canadian culture goes, I'll take me some Bruce Cockburn and maybe something from Timmies but geez guys, hold the poutine!

If you want Canadian culture, it begins with Leonard Cohen. He never vomited out nonsensical words repeated ad nauseam as so many other did. He'll take you on a magical journey with his lyrics.

As far as CANADIAN content goes, nobody beats RUSH .
First saw them in 1972 Queens university and too many times to list after that.

I remember Sub Divisions on MTV, it had a 72 LeSabre convertible :D
