I am in need of at least the passenger side exh manifold for a 60 Electra 401. If you have a good manifold, or even a pair of them, let me know. I need them asap.

    Thanks!

Adam in 1960 it was a 4800 series car. To be exact a 4867.

I would have said it was a 1186502 but you say the part number is stamped on there?

It is cast into the manifold. And thanks for the clarification on the series number. I actually had that typed out, and then deleted it and typed in 8000:Dou:

    Never second-guess yourself!

Adam, I have two buick master parts books, one from 1962 and the other is from 1974. Both books show your manifold as group # 3.601 and the part # 1186502 and the application that it fits is 59-60 ALL............RH.I have looked thru both books and can't find the number you posted.I looked in the SUPERSEDENCE section of the 1962 book and it doesn't show the 1186502 to have been superseeded with any other #. Doesn't mean they didn't do it later on.No other nailhead motor shows the same part # so i'am assuming you have to go with 59-60. Maybe flynbuick can shed some more light on the part #'s. I'll try to find out what your part number is listed for. Sorry i couldn't be more help to you. Tom

Sue and Kenny Reeves (Wheatbelt Buick) came through for me today. They have a set, and I bought the passenger side manifold.

Funny thing - their manifold's heat riser valve is seized as well. Looks like the sawzall might get some exercise!

Adam, did they happen to say anything about the part # or what all was interchangeable with a 60? Tom
