    Wondering if anyone could give the dimensions of the tips used in the N25 option. I need to know what size the open end is?

    I was talking with Tim R. another member. He gave me measurements of 4 7/8" by 1 7/8". I'm getting a shop in Calgary to built the tips. First set looked great but were too big, not enough clearence in the bumper.

    Are you doing 2 1/4", 2 1/2", or 3"? I currently have the stock 2 1/4", but I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust to 2 1/2". Pricing is around $225 - $250. Check out Poston. If you can get 'em cheaper, I would be interested as well.

    I'm running 2.5". Year One wanted $319 which in turn costs me close to $600 Canadian. I'm getting them built for $400. Tips look very close to Year One's but they need to be polished. I never thought to check Poston. Would have probably went that route instead.

    As an FYI, Poston want's $235 (US) for the pair...

    Check out ---> http://www.postonbuick.com/eshop/10Browse.asp

    I'm curious as to how you are going to mount the 2.5", as the stock hangers on the n-25 bumper are only 2.25". Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    the muffer shop enlarged the tailpipe then slid the tip in. The tip is slightly smaller then 2.5". My car is missing the original hangers from the bumper, so that wasn't a concern. It not correct but seems to work fine.

    Erik what is the size of the open end of your tips, is it 4 7/8" by 1 7/8"?

    Thanks,

    Maurice

    Maurice - I just measured each side and they both are 5" x 2" end to end. The tips are also cut on an angle from top to bottom. If you were looking from the side, they look something similar to a \ mark - it's probably a 15-20 degree cut.
