F.A.S.T. & F/S at MARTIN in 07! Dates

Good news, we have again secured the first class facility at US131 Motorsports Park for the F.A.S.T. & F/S Musclecar Shoot out!

This will be a TWO day event! The dates will be Friday June 22 & Saturday June 23 2007.

The event will follow the same program as the '06 race, with exclusive use of the track for F.A.S.T. and F/S cars only, plenty of track time, prizes, press, and fun!

More details will be posted in the near future!

 

Hi Joel,

Wonder if you can answer some questions for me and a few other Stude people or if not, direct us to whom we should contact. The International Stude meet is the same week as the Martin race and we have drags at Osceola on Friday the 22nd.

Would it be possible for the Stude people to come only on Saturday if we get there as soon as the strip opens that morning? If I remember correctly, qualifying runs were made Saturday morning last year but if they are on Friday, could we qualify on Saturday morning or does that mess things up too much?

I don't know how many of us would be coming but sure at least three and maybe six or more.?? There would probably be some spectators also since it is only about 90 mile from South Bend.

If this is not feasable, no problem. Just thought I would ask.

In 2006 the qualifying runs were made on Friday.

 

Here's an idea....

Maybe they could qualify at Osceola on Friday, and phone their e.t.'s in to the .F.A.S.T. organizers o No: I know, I know, shut up, right? ou:

I will talk to Terry and ask him, I don't think we want to use OC times for Martin. Martin's usually a lot quicker than Oceola.I'd like to show the Ford at the museum Friday as well.

The hotels are side by side and share a huge parking lot. They are about 20-25 minutes from the track.

The holiday inn is $84.95, the clarion is $74.95, both with the year one group rate!! I then booked it on line at the clarion website for $64.95 a night!! Some deal year one got
