Midnight blue with a nice bright new Tri Shield emblem? Mmmmmmmmmmm sounds good:TU: I'm either going with a set in black for my 70, or maybe gray for my 60 Electra convertible for my one free set. Nice to be at a point that, that is the only decision left to make!!! YES!!!! BRAND DAMN NEW TRI SHIELD floor mats!!! HOO HOO HOOOOOOOOooo!!!!!:3gears: Can't wait, can't wait!!! I'm gonna stare at that first new set for about an hour!!!! Yeh, I'm going over board but just really is exciting to think over a year of work will finally materialize in the form of brand new Buick parts and NO MORE of those crappy carpeted mats that you can beat with a baseball bat all day long and still find dirt in the next day!:spank: Anyone pre order people counting how many days we have left for delivery? I lost count
When I arrive home in the evenings, I have my eye peeled for the package... It should be here any day now. Bert
John, I have to think it pans out to be a bit Ironic....one does not usually want to remembered as the "mat guy". Congrat's:bla:
All I know is they have billed my Visa and I am pretty excited considering they are "only" floor mats!!! :beer :beer I think sales will determine future products. Can't wait to get these things!!! :TU:
future products The new catalog has several new items for that have been added in the last couple of years, hopefully they will send one with the mats. Bert
PHP: Do you know if they will be offering the early style mat in the near future? Walt, Eric encouraged me that they would be considering the early style mats in a few months, so the possibility sounds good to me:TU:
You mean Buick made cars prior to 1970 and after 1972??uzzled: :eek2: uzzled: :eek2:  :error: :error:...... Lol....jokin like em all....:TU: :beers2: :bla: :bglasses: :bla: :bla:
I got mine on order today and also set up a wholesale account! Dealer discounts are the best! 154+shipping they quoted me 2 weeks.
HTML: Curious what the minimum order qty was to qualify? Are you reselling? David, It isn't really about quantity as much as it is about having a legitimate automotive based company that meets Legendary's qualifications for dealer pricing (usually State resale tax exempt certificate etc). They offered it to me also at the start of all this, but I told them our company could not qualify. I passed their offer on to other Buick brothers that WOULD qualify but for some reason they never pursued ito No: :dollar: :idea2:
Up until a couple years ago, we also would have been eligible for dealer/dist status, but no longer, as we decided not to renew our auto dealer licensing. Many mfgrs will also require minimum order qty's in order to qualify for dist pricing, thought that might have been the case with Legendary. Not sure how they'd feel about that $154 figure being posted here though... I know in our line of work, end users aren't privy to such info, usually confidential between mfgr's and their distributors/dealers who get discounted pricing.
Anyone from legendary on the board here? I was one of the first pre-orders for a set of mats, my card info was taken, and on 7/30, after I called to find out what the status is. Then the first $189.00 was charged, which I figured my mats shipped. No mats yet. My account has now been charged again, still no mats. I only ordered one set! Anyone else having this issue?
When I called in July, I was told my mats would ship on 8/7. My card was charged on 7/20. I have not seen the mats yet, but I expect them this coming week.
PHP: Not sure how they'd feel about that $154 figure being posted here though, end users aren't privy to such info I hear what you are saying David, I am sure they expect that to be held confidental so a manufacturer doesn't get constant requests from consumers who paid full normal pricing who want the same deal, but the cat is out of the bag now. I asked Eric (at Legendary)and he said that price ($154) reflected the special $175 pre-order price less wholesale discount . Even people who can apply for wholesale status will not be able to get them for $154 anymore though as the retail price is now close to $200 I believe. Either way though I am happy with even the $175 a set I'll have to pay verses $700 or more for NOS. There is always going to be someone who got a better deal on something, I'd rather pay the extra $21 bucks not to have to set up an account though anyway:laugh: Speaking of the best deal though....... I get my first set for free!:bla:  MarkO, Have you talked with them at Legendary? I am sure it is an honest mistake
