I need to replace the plastic fast idle cam on my 1967 Quadrajet. I talked to John Osborne and he suggested getting the later metal type fast idle cam instead, (1970+). The original part number for the plastic one is 7033827 but the metal part number (he gave me three) are: 7040809 7040810 7040811 My cam is flat and makes it hard to keep running when cold. Todd, I found a few however they have 2 different part numbers one on each side? o No: Don't know which one is correct? o No: Also found a couple of plastic jobs. Bill
