How it going guys, I have 2 sets of fenders that my grandfather has been storing for years. I believe they are off of 1973 Mustangs but one pair is slightly off from the other. The white one as pictured where the bumper would meet has no indentation while the red one does. Would the red ones be off a different year Mustang or are they off a different car entirely.
    Thank you
    Joe

I'm guessing but maybe a rubber bumper Mustang (1973) vs chrome bumper car?

I had a 72 with a rubber front bumper, but those bumpers are smaller then the ones used on the 73 Mustangs. You might be looking at the difference between a 71-72 fender and a 73 fender.

Thank you guys, I have determined with help from duane that the white fenders are off of a 1971 or 1972 while the red ones are off of a 1973. My guess is the indentation is for the the mandated 5 mph bumpers but I'm not sure if that is the reason.
    Thank you again
