Fiberglass GS hood

My car has a VFN fiberglass GS hood on it. There are no cut outs for the hood grille openings. Has anyone had any luck installing the factory grilles in one? Or any other ideas? It just doesn't look good the way it is.

Try toddsgs for a decal to go in those spots.

If you want them to be functional use the seal plates as a templet to locate the holes.

Im not really concerned about them being actually functional. I wont be using a GS air cleaner. I just dont like the blank hole look. Reminds me of the stick on Lund hood scoops. I just want to see if anyone had luck putting the factory scoops in a glass hood before i spend the coin and buy the scoops.

You will need to either trim the bezels up considerably or you will need to attach some mounting tabs, and trim the hood very carefully

I might have a few grills with bad or broken studs. If so you could break the stud off and glue it into place over some flat black paint

Went out to get the box of those parts from the last known place of resting and looked inside. Then I remembered I had these 3D printed plastic grills. no pins on the bottoms. Had loaned a set of good grills to a fellow member that wanted to try and print some and he sent these back with mine. Your welcome to them. PM me your info and i'll send them. If its something you can use just send me 20.00 to cover the postage.

Briz, these are very interesting. Are the holes in screen, or are the closed? I cant quite tell. Id be willing to give you a few bucks for them, then I wont be ruining a set of factory grilles to glue them in a glass hod.

They are slightly open. and just a little different in size but being plastic could be trimmed to fit with no problems. PM me your shipping info and I'll send them out.
