Final Crush - former Blacks Auto NM

Local yard, now closed, is conducting a final crush this week. Everything, included loose parts are to be crushed, per order of the Executors.
Some very old sheetmetal also, including three ‘55 Pontiac fenders and a late forties Buick Hood. Any market for this stuff, anywhere? Am going to save some ‘67-‘72 truck stuff, some square body truck and perhaps a few pieces of A body Mopar.
There is no way to ship affordably anymore, this would have to be picked up by buyer or their agent, if I save any of this. I do know a USHIPPER. There is virtually no ‘68-‘72 A left, except for a few Skylark flat hoods. ‘66 Wildcat hood and trunk lid is still here. Anyone?

Probably am going to try and buy close to half of it. There are late forties / early fifties Buick fenders, that go with the hood pictured above. The '66 Wildcat hood and trunk lid. '66 Le Mans drivers' post door, a trunk lid, a pair of fenders and inner skirts. And a trove of Ford - mid sixties Fairlane (five or six complete loaded HT doors) as well as some very clean '71-'72 Galaxie coupe metal.

Wound up securing the '49 Buick hood and fenders and the Wildcat hood and trunk lid. Sent the '66 Lemans stuff to a Guy in Anthony, TX, so it was saved. And bought four pieces of A body Mopar. And '67 - '72 and '73 - '80 truck stuff. Some of that, I've already sold. The '55 Pontiac and most of the Ford stuff I could not save, it went to the crusher. The crushers were throwing loose glass and some loose sheetmetal in vehicles, before they were squashed. I pulled all the '70-'72 A body glass out of this yard, 12-15 years ago, there is an additional 8 to 10 truck beds of loose glass, that will have to be disposed of. Of course, most was never marked.

Some pictures of the sorting of the sheetmetal. Yep most of the Ford went, or is going away. I simply don't know the Market. Did save some very good early seventies ('71-'72) Galaxie coupe stuff. Yep they threw the mid sixties loaded Fairlane doors in vehicles a week ago, while I was at regular job. On the fence about the Toronado fender, the seventies F body doors, some Third Gen Camaro doors, and the '63 Tempest Unibody doors. Some damaged '49-'50 ford hoods and the mid seventies Cougar Door are going away.

49-51 Ford hoods are well worth saving. They rot out in all the eastern/ northern states .

A local guy pulled it out of this yard, when it was still open. I saw it parked on the street near Dona Ana Elementary School.

Yeah, these have damage, and are tweaked in places. The logistics problem means save only good straight parts. A good body man could fix. I did have a Request recently for entire '46 - '48 Ford front clip, that stuff will be hard to source, although in the southwest am sure it's out there somewhere and in good condition.
