I’m doing my best resisting jumping into this thread, I feel it’s starting to get “hi jacked”.... I am the guy who called JW looking for a 54mm cam core....And TA, Crower, Bullet, even Schneider..... I might start a new thread, addressing my problem, and some of the issues mentioned in this thread would be relevant.... I’m trying to go faster, but buying the new heads is not going to get me where I want, for the cost.... I appreciate KB and if I was NOT cash limited, and building a Big Big Block Buick, NA, I’d have them...

It certainly was not my intent to hijack the thread and after looking back at everything that was said I should’ve chose another place to vent certainly another thread,so I apologize for that. Tom

Tom if you are having supply issues with any parts for your build contact Ken or myself. KBR was started to provide the needed parts as quickly as possible.
If he knows there is a need it goes on the list. The more the need the higher on the list it is.
    Have a great weekend

I did ask Ken what month I would be able to purchase a cam I did not get a response, but maybe he didn’t see it.Also my frustrations were directed more at T/A Performance after all they are the ones that produce the block that supports the 54 mm cam and that they could not tell me how long it would be until there would be anything available. That’s what created a lot of my frustration.I Appreciate your help though. Tom

We are “looking” for the right machine. We will immediately buy it when we find the right one. I can’t imagine someone not have cam cores before we do. Cranks will be the first thing on the agenda.

Subscribing, just bumping this for an update and looking for info on a possible future engine platform to replace my lil Buick V6 someday!

I don't suspect parts availability has gotten any better over the last 2.5 yrs since this thread has been bumped? Are the KBR billet heads available and did he release the cast set? I dont think TA has produced anything new but I found a FB post about a head with a casting Mike was building for his wagon?

Hope to see some of these combos at the Nats this year. I have to pay more attention to what you V8 guys are up to this is some pretty cool stuff!!

There are 3 sets of heads being done now. Two are done and a set for a twin turbo is in the machine now. That will be 6 complete sets. 4 sold, 1 test set( available for purchase soon) and the set for the dragster. Lead time is not bad at all. These ate billet as we are still working on a few things for the cast heads.

You honestly think anyone will make a race 350 head when the street/strip head isn’t selling?
