I am a proud owner of a SBB, 350 with 800 quadrajet, alum. intake, upgraded valve train, chevy 3.23 rear gears (soon to switch to a buick 3.42 or chevy 3.73 whichever is avail at time of change), full length headers, cam; 218 and 231 @0.050, duration 272 and 298, lift 0.416 0.464 (in out respectively), 112.0 centers. Tires are 29" diam. It's time for me to crack the seal on the tranny. New valve body and TC are my thoughts but that's where my thoughts end so far. I've consulted with the cam grinder (Comp) and they suggest 2500 stall. Any advice would be appreciated as I have not driven a car with tranny mods before. Also, the use is weekend driver that I enjoy pasting the passenger to the seat on occasions (Yes BBB guys passenger pasting is possible with a SBB). Thanks and Happy New Year :beer
