The black/gold 71 GS455 GSX clone was really special too. Moz had it at one point. I think it went to Kansas. I had two 71 GS455 Convertibles. Bittersweet mist automatic, and blue 4spd. I think one went to New England someplace, the other went to Canada just north of there on the east side. The 70GSX 455 10-10 4spd went to a guy that had a shop on the overhauling show. Totally frame off, put the original engine block back in the car. Sold it. Where it went after that, don't know. I just saw that a Q-Q GSX Stage1 sold for $65K at Mecum auction last week. Makes me sick how undervalued the buicks are compared to anything else. A 70 SS Chevelle LS6 would be six figures and the GSX would whomp it in a street race, the quarter, and be a nicer car to drive in the meantime.
Just saw it go for 50K....not sure if real Stage 1. Also, no foam muffs on air cleaner....aren't they readily available?
