I have been told by a chevelle guy that the entire floor will fit and it can be bought in sectionswhole front from seat area to firewall and sill to sill with tunnel . I have seen this part and it looks the same as GS floor . He says the complete floor is 6 hours faster at least to put in

Most of the GM products share the same under pinnings. Hence, A-body, B-body, X-body, F-body and so on. So, the inner structures were "corporate designed" and the engineers built the end product around the inner structure. These structures would typically survive 2-4 years. The General is big on commonality to save a buck. With plants scattered around the country/world the stampings need to be easy to get, and inter changeable.

I have used the Chevelle parts on my GS, a GTO and even a Chevelle. Fit and function are great, use the complete floor section as convertables are easy to install it. The down side is that you need to replace the mounting braces as well. This is one of those "while your there" kind of projects. By the time you do the floor, braces, mounts, rubber parts and pay the shop. It would be better and cheaper to start with a rust-free body shell and transfer your parts & pieces.

I see that you are over seas, price out all of the work, parts and time, then multiply by 3. The rust free option looks better all the time (even with shipping).

    Just my .02

If your car has the base or Deluxe interior, you could try to find seats and door panels from a Custom trimmed 1965 Wildcat of the same body style as yours. What are the 5 first digits of your car's serial number?
You could replace the grille with one from a 65 LeSabre or Electra225 but I'm not sure it would improve the look of the car. The only benefit from this change would be less chances to pinch your fingers when you open the hood!
