So I have a super nice aluminum trans pan on my 2004r. I use a felpro neoprene gasket with no sealant at all. The gasket is not leaking, but trans fluid seeps I think to the bolt threads and finds its way out. Any neat techniques to defeat this? I hate to use any rtv as I like the ability remove the pan and not have to scrape the gasket. Anyone just put rtv on the threads of the bolts?

When I've had that issue, it was because the gasket got a small rip/tear thru the holes for the bolts.
If you can, drop pan, remove gasket, and look real close at the hole in the gasket where the oil is dripping from.
