For Sale-'73-'78 Skylark/Regal Spindles These are left and right 1 piece units that retain the rotor, caliper and attach to the outer tie rod. They are freshly powder coated in chassis black. They were on my 70 GS as a conversion from drums to disc. I have decided to go with the kit from The Parts Place and will not be using these. This will include the backing plates and the grease cap for the rotors. I would like $75 shipped but am open to offers too. Thank you
These were on my '70 GS when I got it and I am doing a total frame off. These appear to have been used to convert from a front drum to disc and was done probably 20 years ago before the reproduction spindle assemblies were available. These are not able to utilize the stock 64-72 upper and lower balljoints or the outer tie rod end, instead, you would need to use the 75-78 parts for conversion on the 70-72. I have ordered the reproduction parts and when I get them, possibly today, I can compare them to the spindles I have for sale and tell you whether they are taller or not. How can I tell if these are what you are looking for? Can I measure something? Thank you.
I do not know but, they are huge compared to the OE ones. Can you tell by looking at them? Thank you.
