Long term storage? More like long term hiding! Can't help but wonder if the car isn't a '71, as the mirrors, master cylinder, flat lenses, steering wheel, and interior would indicate? In that case, both tags would have been swapped...easy enough to believe when you see the pictures. The interior appears to be the only thing that hasn't been fooled with other than some emblems on the door panels. https://www.ebay.com/itm/124961741444?_trkparms=amclksrc=ITM&aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=20180105095853&meid=aa2d636bcdfb4045861ca06615635cdb&pid=100903&rk=1&rkt=16&sd=124961741444&itm=124961741444&pmt=0&noa=1&pg=2510209&_trksid=p2510209.c100903.m5276 SELLER ADDED: "In the interest of full disclosure and complete transparency regarding my knowledge of the car's history, I was contacted by a long time Buick GS enthusiast and he pointed out a discrepancy between the VIN# and the body tag. Here is what he had to say: I'm a long time Buick GS enthusiast having owned 9 GSs over the past 35 years and am very knowledgeable regarding originality of these Buicks. I mention this because I see that the VIN number of your GS is a mismatch for the Trim Tag above the cowling in the engine bay. The VIN indicates that the car is a GS455 manufactured in Flint Michigan (446370H) while the trim tag indicates it's a GS350 manufactured in Framingham, Mass. (43437 followed by a G). So, somewhere in its life the VIN tag and/or the Trim Tag have been switched."
Yes Sir, ole buddy I don’t want someone pounding on my door at 2am with a roll back and the real title lol
It certainly looks like it, but it could possibly just be attaching the little black plastic frame that clips in. You would have to pull that piece up to know what you were looking at.
