I just changed my Buick 350 from a 2bbl to a 4 bbl intake. I was wondering if anyone had any information on the 4 bbl intake (ie: vaccum ports). My motor is a 1969 and the intake came off of a 1972 or 1973 (I think). I Just put a Holley 4 bbl on it too, so I am get most of my vaccum from it. Can i just cap off the ports on the intake? Oh and yes this is for "another" Jeep wagoneer guy.
just hook up your essentials- vac. adv,pcv,brake booster,etc.and cap off the rest,you dont want ANY vac. leaks.if unsure of a vac. leak , spray carb clean around suspected area, if rpms rise slightly, you got a leak.A vac.leak will drive you crazy with drivablity and a ton of other problems.
