"LARRY 70 GS" & "TUFBUICK" did a little Detective work on Long Island today....................This is what we found!
Were the heater hoses from the factory ever red like those in the GS 350 pic? Nice looking car overall.
Do tell... Ron, What's the deal with the 70? Is it legit? Is anyone (or are you) inquiring about whether it's availible? I LOVE finding stuff like that!! I'm sure there's someone on this board who'd love a nice project like that looks to be.... Good work, bloodhounds!! :TU: :TU:
Re: Funny.... This guy is very negotiable on price, may have to buy this one just for the "DAMN" grill ! By the way I talked him out of a brand new set of "LEGENDARY" 1972 Black bucket set covers [ in the box ] for $50. Larry nearly "S**T" ! I think I can do real well dealin' on the car!
Wish I had a place to put it! The red car is a real GS455, vin is 44637. It has no interior at all. It looks like the body is pretty solid. The 70 grill is cracked in a few places, but repairable. The front bumper is rusty and bent. The rear bumper is a 71, and in fair condition. The house looks like a mini Junkyard, in a nice affluent neighborhood. I don't know how people get away with thato No: He must be real popular with his neighbors:laugh: The blue car looks like it runs, and it is solid. 72 Skylark with a bench seat. The 71 Lime Green car, sounded good. The grill was broken on the drivers side, typical damage where someone didn't hold the stud, and it rotated cracking the plastic. Ronny just wanted the seat covers for now, got an 80% discount on them. Maybe he will go back there and do the same with the car, it wouldn't surprise me one bit:Brow: The N.E. GS/GN club didn't give Ron the nickname "The Cleaver" for nothing:Smarty:
THANXXXX LARR! Now, if I could only get him to ring the "BELL" for the "RED ONE" ! HEEEEEYYYY.............Is that ALLAN hiding in the bushes?
