After last tuesdays scss mishap with twisting driveshaft and shattering rear section of trans i finally picked up a 66 th400. I drilled and tapped case for mods and swapped all my parts over to it only to realize that my gear selector rod has a seal in the case were as the 66 just has an o-ring on it, but the outside threads are bad on it where the linkage hooks up. My question is , do the 350-400th trans use the same gear selector rod? trying to get car back up for tuesday and going to jy to find a gear selector shaft and was curious if they were the same.
